Sagittarius Full Moon · Blue Moon

May 31, 2026

When I wrote at the beginning of this month, the energy felt subterranean. Scorpio had just opened the descent, and I was aware of how much was shifting internally. There was clarity, obviously, but it was dense clarity. The kind that requires time to metabolize. What I did not fully anticipate was how the second half of the month would move.

As the weeks unfolded, I completed the first full batch of Feminine Luminary Alignment readings. Over one hundred charts. Over one hundred women entrusting me with their cosmic architecture. That work demanded depth, discernment, and energetic integrity. It required me to hold other people’s becoming while standing firmly inside my own.

At the same time, I have been deep in the planning of my graduation celebration next month. Celebration is not separate from ritual. It is ritual. It is public acknowledgement that something has ended and something else has begun.

By the time the Blue Moon rose in Sagittarius, the energy had shifted from introspection to movement. The descent clarified what needed to reorganize. The second full moon did not feel investigative. It felt directional.

Sagittarius governs expansion, philosophy, and trajectory. It asks where you are going with what you now know. It is less concerned with the excavation itself and more concerned with what you do once excavation is complete. A Blue Moon intensifies that emphasis. Two full moons within one calendar month create compression. The cycle does not drift; it culminates.

I am intentionally publishing this on the Monday following the full moon. Monday is governed by the Moon. Lunar rhythms linger. The illumination does not evaporate at the exact astronomical peak. I find it appropriate and fitting to close this arc under lunar governance AND at the threshold of a new month. Nothing like a cleanse to kick of the month.

The beginning of May asked what must be set down.

The end of May asks what moves forward.

The descent is complete. Now direction matters.

A Note on Glamour Conjure (REMINDER)

When I use the term glamour conjure, I am naming a practice rooted in lived tradition, embodiment, and interior discipline. Conjure reflects relationship and continuity. It names practices shaped through repetition, material intimacy, and care sustained over time. It is less about spectacle than about process — how knowledge settles into the body through return, refinement, and use.

Glamour, in this context, includes cultivation. It includes tending the small habits, environments, and boundaries that quietly shape self-image and relational presence. What is repeated becomes orientation. What is practiced becomes embodied. What is embodied becomes legible as presence.

Some elements of these rituals are shared openly. Others remain discreet, particularly where they intersect with culturally specific, initiatory, or lineage-based traditions. What is offered here reflects what can be shared responsibly, without collapsing context, flattening difference, or overexposing what requires stewardship.

This work honors both accessibility and restraint.

Glamour Lineage Profile: Ereshkigal

The Blue Moon in Sagittarius brings us to the relational core of the descent: the encounter between sisters.

When Inanna enters the underworld, she enters Ereshkigal’s domain. Ereshkigal governs grief, endings, consequence, and the knowledge that accumulates through rupture. Her sovereignty moves beneath the visible world. It is structural, subterranean, and intimate with what has already collapsed.

As Inanna passes through each of the seven gates, relinquishing crown, beads, breastplate, rod, and ring, the architecture of the underworld steadily withdraws the protections that mediate perception. No one forcibly humiliates her. The gates operate according to their own law. In that realm, ornament does not carry authority, rank does not translate, and symbol does not substitute for substance.

By the time she stands before Ereshkigal, she stands without amplification. What remains is presence stripped of its visible scaffolding. That exposure reorganizes her from the inside outward.

This is where the glamour lineage sharpens.

Glamour, as I practice it, concerns the intimacy between embodiment and perception. It attends to how authority is carried in the body, how adornment functions as signal and as shield, and how presence circulates once it leaves the skin. The descent reveals that none of these operate independently of structural depth. Adornment carries weight because it can be relinquished. Authority stabilizes because it has endured removal. Presence strengthens when it has met itself without mediation.

Scorpio held that confrontation.

Sagittarius holds what follows.

In the myth, Inanna’s return alters the relational field. She discerns who honored her absence and who exploited it. She negotiates her reentry with precision. She does not simply resume her former position; she reconfigures it. Expansion carries gravity because it has been shaped by what she encountered below.

Under this Blue Moon, direction becomes the central inquiry. Once you have stood in the presence of what cannot be adorned and once identity has reorganized beneath its visible layers, movement acquires density. The horizon ceases to be aspirational because it becomes chosen.

The two full moons form a single architecture. The first clarified what required surrender. The second asks how you walk once surrender has clarified you.

What This Moon Indicates

A Blue Moon marks a second fullness within the same month — a repetition that is not repetition at all, but intensification. The sky completes itself twice before the calendar resets. When illumination returns this quickly, it carries consequence. The first moon opened something. The second demands response.

The first May full moon in Scorpio initiated descent. It revealed entanglement, attachment, and the deeper architecture beneath visible growth. It asked where energy had fused with systems, loyalties, expectations, and inherited contracts. It slowed perception so that depth could reorganize the surface.

This Blue Moon in Sagittarius shifts the axis.

Sagittarius governs horizon, direction, belief, expansion, and the narratives that quietly structure forward movement. Once descent has clarified what binds, expansion must clarify what guides. Once identity has reorganized beneath its visible layers, direction can no longer be aspirational. It must be selected.

This lunation draws attention to:

  • where vision exceeds integration

  • where philosophy outpaces embodiment

  • where freedom is desired without structural alignment

  • where direction has been inherited rather than consciously chosen

  • where expansion is pursued without recalibrated discernment

Sagittarius moves toward meaning. It seeks coherence between belief and trajectory. It asks whether the story you are living aligns with the story you claim to stand for. Under this Blue Moon, the question becomes intimate: now that you have seen what lies beneath, where are you actually going?

Scorpio clarified entanglement.Sagittarius clarifies orientation.

Because this is the second illumination of the month, it carries synthesis. It gathers what the descent revealed and insists that movement reflect that knowledge. Expansion is no longer abstract. It must emerge from integration.

This moon does not excavate further. It asks you to walk.

MATERIALS

Use the materials you gathered earlier this month:

  • Sea salt, black salt, or Epsom salt

  • Rosemary

  • Bay leaf

  • Hyssop

  • Eucalyptus

  • Large bowl or basin (if not bathing)

  • Glass jar or spray bottle (if making an infusion)

  • White towel reserved for this working

  • Fragrance to mark reentry

Optional: a white or gold candle

I am personally adding:

  • Optional: 1 tbsp rose petals

  • Optional: 1 tsp lavender

  • Optional: 1 tsp hibiscus (very small amount — strong pigment)

SETTING THE SPACE

Clean the bathroom or bathing area intentionally. Physical cleaning is part of the ritual.

If using a candle, place it somewhere safe and visible but not dominant. Sagittarius is fire, but this ritual centers immersion. The flame witnesses; it does not lead.

THE RITUAL

STEP 1: Create the Herbal Infusion

This is the base for all three formats.

  • 3–4 cups water

  • 1 tbsp rosemary

  • 1–2 bay leaves

  • 1 tsp hyssop

  • 3–4 eucalyptus leaves (or small pinch dried)

  • Optional: 1 tbsp rose petals

  • Optional: 1 tsp lavender

  • Optional: 1 tsp hibiscus (very small amount — strong pigment)

  • Optional: small strip orange peel

Instructions:

  1. Bring water to a gentle boil.

  2. Add all herbs.

  3. Reduce to low simmer.

  4. Let simmer 15–25 minutes.

  5. Turn off heat.

  6. Cool completely.

  7. Strain thoroughly.

You now have your concentrated ritual infusion.

⚠ Hibiscus will tint the water red/pink and may lightly stain white towels if heavily concentrated. It will not permanently stain skin unless left thick and unstrained. Use modest amount. It symbolizes bloom after descent. It does not need to dominate the blend.

⚠ Strain well to avoid herb fragments sticking to skin.

⚠ Patch test on inner wrist before full use.

⚠ Avoid face.

⚠ Avoid broken skin.

⚠ Discontinue if irritation occurs.

⚠ External use only.

STEP 2: Acknowledge the Descent

Before immersion with one of the below options, pause.

Say: “I have seen what binds me.”

No elaboration. Recognition is enough.

STEP 3: Enter the Water

OPTION 1:

Full Bath

  1. Fill bathtub with warm water.

  2. Add:

    • 1–2 cups of herbal infusion

    • 1 handful of salt

    • Optional splash of Florida Water (after tub is filled)

  3. Stir water clockwise with your hand.

Enter slowly.

Submerge at least once if possible.

Stay 10–20 minutes.

As the water moves across you, consider: What am I no longer carrying forward?

Let the water take what has already been named over the past weeks.

This is not about searching. It is about release.

After rinsing, stand still.

Sagittarius governs trajectory. Expansion must be chosen.

Place your hand at your sternum.

Say: “My direction is deliberate.”

Then say: “What expands from me aligns with who I have become.”

Let those words settle in the body.

Air dry if possible, or pat dry with your white ritual towel. This marks reconstitution. You are not returning as the same configuration.

 OPTION 2:

Shower Rinse

  1. Shower normally first.

  2. Turn off water.

  3. Add 1–2 cups of infusion to a bowl.

  4. Add a small pinch of salt.

  5. Pour slowly from shoulders downward.

Do not rinse off fully afterward. Light rinse is fine if needed for comfort.

OPTION 3: Cleansing Mist

If no bath access:

  1. Mix:

    • 1 part herbal infusion

    • 2 parts Florida Water

  2. Pour into glass spray bottle.

  3. Shake gently.

  4. Mist full body lightly.

  5. Let air dry.

Refrigerate if storing longer than 1–2 weeks.

STEP 4: Fragrance

Apply your chosen fragrance.

This is your reentry marker.

Fragrance now carries different weight. It follows descent. It signals direction.

This is not to attract. This is for you to MOVE.

You may notice:

  • clarity about where you are going

  • less tolerance for misalignment

  • a sharpened sense of philosophy

  • a quiet steadiness in decision-making

This Blue Moon completes the arc that began on May 1.

Scorpio reorganized the interior.

Sagittarius orients the horizon.

The cleanse seals the descent. The fragrance marks the walk forward.
