M Archive: After the End of the World

An experimental work of Black feminist speculation, poetry, theory, and archival imagination, M Archive looks backward from a future after catastrophe to examine the world we are making now. Written “after and with” M. Jacqui Alexander’s Pedagogies of Crossing, Gumbs moves through memory, embodiment, ecology, desire, and possibility to imagine what might survive us, what we might become, and the futures still waiting to be woven.
