Sensory Map: A Sacred Sensuality Practice
Your body has been gathering information your entire life. The Sensory Map is a guided practice designed to help you begin noticing its language.
Rooted in Sacred Sensuality, one of the three pillars of Black Feminine Cultural Mysticism, this four-page guide invites you to explore the patterned ways your body responds to the world through scent, sound, touch, taste, sight, and sensation. Rather than assigning universal meanings to bodily cues, the practice helps you become more fluent in your own.
Through a sensory inventory and embodied reflection, you’ll identify your anchors, irritants, regulators, and awakeners, then practice noticing the subtle shifts—softening, tightening, craving, overwhelm, energetic lift, and more—that can reveal the conditions under which you feel grounded, nourished, creative, connected, or in need of care.
The Sensory Map is an invitation to notice before you interpret, making space to learn the landscape of your senses and recognize what helps you return to yourself.
