About
The Glamour Conjure Practica is a four-month guided study and practice space for those ready to move beyond the flattened understanding of glamour magick as beauty, attraction, and aesthetics—and into the deeper architecture of the work. Glamour is concerned with perception: what we reveal, what we obscure, what we attract, what we repel, and what becomes possible when we intentionally work with the space between who we are and what can be perceived. Glamour does not begin with the "spell." We begin with Interiority, exploring shadow, desire, visibility, inheritance, and the ancestral conditions that shape how we understand ourselves and being perceived. From there, we develop Magical Literacy, studying materia, herbs, color, candles, lunar cycles, timing, ancestral relationship, divination, and the foundations from which workings are constructed. Next, we enter the Archive, examining glamour through literature, folklore, history, cultural memory, and spiritual tradition. Finally, we move into Praxis, where you will use what you have studied to conceptualize and construct an original glamour working of your own. The Parlor is intentionally hybrid: four months of guided asynchronous study and independent practice alongside four live, facilitated gatherings devoted to collective inquiry, conversation, and knowledge exchange. Select gatherings may also welcome guest knowledge holders into the room. I am a Black American, Hoodoo practitioner, and my work emerges from that ancestral and cultural location. This is not a Hoodoo how-to course, and private or protected aspects of my practice will not be taught. You do not have to be Black American to participate; you will be expected to locate what we study within your own ancestral and cultural context. This is a private container. Parlor materials and participant knowledge are not to be reproduced or shared. All purchases are final. No refunds.
